Three main sections (energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainable living) contain a wealth of information -- from case studies to technical information to financial and planning issues.
Issues of concern to NASEO include electric and gas utility, transportation, buildings, research, economic development, environmental, energy efficiency, renewable energy and other energy-related matters.
We conduct research in heat transfer, thermal dynamics and system engineering. Our research accelerates industry adoption of advanced energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.
Covering subjects related to sustainable energy technologies from 1977 to the present, our bibliographic database includes NREL technical reports, fact sheets, brochures, videos, books, journal articles, conference papers, patents, and exhibits.
The new Web Site offers consumers energy-wise ideas and information from A to Z -- from alternative energy topics on the cost and benefits in investing in renewables such as solar panels and small scale wind projects, to zonal home and building efficiency and construction practices to suit the State's various climate regions.
The EERE mission is to strengthen America's energy security, environmental quality, and economic vitality in public-private partnerships that: enhance energy efficiency and productivity; bring clean, reliable and affordable energy technologies to the marketplace; and make a difference in the everyday lives of Americans by enhancing their energy choices and their quality of life.
